AQUATHLON NAVAL 2026

On October 11, 2026, the Aquathlon Naval will take place at Ponta Negra Beach in Manaus. This unique race features a combination of swimming and running on sandy terrain, drawing up to 300 athletes for an exhilarating challenge along the Amazon's coastline.
The event begins with a one-kilometer swim in the ocean waters off Ponta Negra Beach. Swimmers will navigate through warm tropical seas before transitioning onto the soft sand for a three-kilometer run around the beach, split into two laps. Both sections of this aquathlon require precision and endurance as athletes must complete within a strict three-hour time limit.
Participants are required to wear an official race cap during their swim and use a wrist chip timer throughout both segments. No flotation devices beyond standard swimming gear will be allowed in the water portion. The beach run offers stunning views of the ocean, making it a scenic yet demanding course for competitors.
Registration opens on Ticket Sports until October 7th or until spots are filled at R$220 for individuals and R$350 for relay teams (with service fees). Categories include junior, master divisions by age group, PCD, and military classifications. Relay participants must consist of two people with one responsible for the swim leg and another taking on the run.
Kit pickup will be available at TAG Store inside Samaúma Shopping Center from October 9th to 10th during regular business hours. All athletes need a government-issued photo ID upon collection, or it can also be done by an authorized representative if necessary.
This event promises not only athletic competition but also the allure of Brazil's vibrant northern coast, making Aquathlon Naval a memorable experience for all participants and spectators alike.
