Challenge yourself at the Apex Ultra Trials, an outdoor endurance event set within King George’s Parks. Inspired by the Backyard Ultra format but with unique twists, this event invites participants to run a 3.5km loop every half hour from Saturday, October 3rd, starting at 7am until 7pm.
The challenge is structured around completing up to 24 loops over a span of 12 hours, totaling an impressive distance of 84 kilometers. Unlike traditional races that focus on speed, Apex Ultra Trials emphasizes endurance and strategic pacing. Participants must listen carefully to their bodies as they navigate the demanding schedule, balancing recovery with consistent effort.
For those who find the thought of running solo for such a prolonged period daunting, there's an option to enter in pairs. This allows teammates to split the loops between them, taking turns to run while providing mutual support and encouragement. Whether you choose to tackle all 24 loops alone or share the challenge with a partner, the goal remains clear: keep moving consistently towards each new loop.
In addition to the physical demands of the event, Apex Ultra Trials offers comprehensive on-site medical assistance from physios and therapists to ensure participants’ safety throughout their journey.
