Another Round 25K

Experience endurance and camaraderie at Jockey's Ridge State Park in Nags Head with the Outer Banks Sporting Events Another Round 25K. This unique race challenges participants to complete five consecutive 5K loops, each starting on the hour from 7:30 a.m. until noon. The course winds through scenic terrain that includes portions of sandy dunes, offering runners a taste of both endurance and trail running.
Participants can choose between individual or team categories. For solo competitors, the goal is to complete all five laps within :55 minutes per loop for maximum bragging rights based on cumulative time performance. Teams of two must alternate loops with one member completing three 5Ks while their partner runs two. No participant may run only a single 5K.
The race features chip timing and awards will be given to the fastest individuals and teams overall, as well as top male and female finishers in each category. All participants receive swag including medals at the completion of their final loop.
It's important for runners to arrive promptly at the start line every hour without fail or risk being disqualified from subsequent loops. Proper race etiquette is enforced with no pacers allowed alongside strict rules against pets and strollers on course.
A portion of proceeds benefit Friends of Jockey’s Ridge, supporting efforts to preserve this natural wonder.
