Another Hour is the second installment of the Happy Hour Series, set against the backdrop of McCauley Mountain's serene trails in Prince Edward County, Ontario, scheduled for Friday, June 11th, 2027 at 6:30 PM. This event aims to foster a welcoming and informal atmosphere where runners can connect with their community while enjoying a scenic evening run. The course winds through the beloved conservation area on approximately 5km of undulating single-track trails that offer both challenge and beauty. Participants should expect varied terrain, including some hills, making it an ideal outing for those looking to test their fitness in a supportive environment. No aid stations will be provided along the route; however, there is an outhouse available at the site. Water will be accessible only at the start/finish line, and participants are encouraged to bring reusable water bottles as this event promotes sustainability by being cupless. Kit pickup for bibs will take place one hour prior to race commencement, with "day of" registration also possible under those circumstances for an additional $35 fee. Timing is conducted manually without any placement awards; the focus remains on participation and camaraderie rather than competition. Regarding refunds or deferrals, it's important to note that there are no refunds offered regardless of reason. However, participants can defer their entry to another Happy Hour event should they be unable to attend this one. For those who complete all four races in the series, including Another Hour, special recognition awaits at The Last Hour with a custom Dirty Soles medal and unique awards such as top cumulative time spent on courses and least cumulative time. These accolades celebrate both endurance and efficiency among runners throughout the Happy Hour Series journey. This event is designed to be inclusive for all levels of fitness and experience, promising an evening filled with scenic trails and community spirit under the twilight sky of Prince Edward County.

About Prince Edward
Learn more about the host city, Prince Edward.
Prince Edward County (PEC) is a single-tier municipality in southern Ontario, Canada on the Bay of Quinte. Located on Lake Ontario’s northeastern shore, the area is known for Sandbanks Provincial Park and as a cottage country and wine country destination due to its waterfront forested landscapes and many small wineries. Technically a peninsula, the construction of the Murray Canal in 1889, near Carrying Place, made PEC functional a man-made island.
