About the Event

AnMed Cannon is proud to announce they will be hosting a 5k run/walk at the AnMed Pavilion at the Pickens Doodle Park. This will be a community event you won't want to miss. This event is more than just a race. There will be a health fair sponsored by the AnMed Cannon Foundation focusing on healthy lifestyles.

The 5k will be held on a certified course and overall and age group awards will be handed out following the race. All participants will receive finisher medals.

The 5k race will start promptly at 9:00am. Award ceremony should be around 10:15am after the last runner has completed the course. Awards will be 3 deep for overall M/F and Masters M/F. Age group awards will be given at 10 year intervals.

Packet Pick-up will be under the shelter at the Doodle Park in Pickens on Friday 9/25/26 from 4:00pm-6:00pm. and race morning from 7:30am-8:45am.

All runners who register by 9/12/26 will receive a tee shirt. After 9/12/26 tee shirts will not be available. Tee shirts must be picked up at packet pickup

Parking is available on E. Cedar Rock St and at City Works on Railroad St

Pickens, formerly called Pickens Courthouse, is a city in and the county seat of Pickens County, South Carolina, United States. As of the 2020 census, Pickens had a population of 3,388. Pickens changed its classification from a town to a city in 1998, but it was not reported to the Census Bureau until 2001. It was named after Andrew Pickens, an American revolutionary soldier and US Congressman for South Carolina.
