Whether you’re chasing a new PR in the 5K or joining the 1-Mile Fun Run to stretch your legs before the holidays, this course is designed for everyone.

The flat, scenic route winds through Rabbit Hill’s paths and park roads, offering a perfect mix of speed, beauty, and community.

🏃‍♂️ 5K — Angry Bird Turkey Run
Get ready to Gobble Up the Competition at the Angry Bird Turkey Run 5K!
Taking place on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Rabbit Hill Park in Dacula, GA, this flat and scenic course is perfect for both seasoned runners and first-timers.

Our top overall male and female 5K finishers will each waddle home with a FREE turkey 🦃 and a champion’s trophy 🏆!

All 5K finishers will receive a finisher’s medal, and those who register by November 2 will also receive an official race shirt.

Awards:
Top Overall Male & Female, plus Top 3 Male & Female in the following age groups:
0–10, 11–14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70+.

Start Time: 8:00 AM
Course: Rabbit Hill Park trails and paved paths
Cutoff Time: 9:30 AM

Join us for the tune-up before the turn-up and make every step count before Thanksgiving!

(1-Mile participants will not receive medals.)

🦶 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk
The 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk is a great way for families, friends, and new runners to get in on the action!
This fun, untimed event follows a shorter course through Rabbit Hill Park and is open to participants of all ages and abilities.

Start Time: 8:05 AM (right after the 5K starts)
Cost: $15 — No shirt or medal included (optional shirt available for $15 while supplies last).

Come enjoy the festive fall atmosphere and walk, jog, or run your way into the holiday season!

🐣 Little Turkeys Trot (Kids Dash)
Let your little ones take flight before the big race begins!
The Little Turkeys Trot is a short, exciting dash designed just for kids — perfect for introducing them to the joy of racing in a safe, fun, and family-friendly environment.

Start Time: 7:55 AM (right before the 5K)
Cost: Free (optional commemorative shirt available for $15 while supplies last).

Cheer on your young runner as they cross the finish line with a smile and plenty of Thanksgiving spirit!

 
🎯 We Run Gwinnett! Race Series – Final Qualifier
The Angry Bird Turkey Run is the final qualifier for the We Run Gwinnett! Race Series Championship.

To qualify for the Championship awards, you must complete three (3) races in the series by the end of this event.
You may still participate in December’s Jingle All the Way 5K, but it will not count toward championship eligibility.

Earn points all season long for participation, placement, and performance — then see where you rank on the leaderboard!
