ALNWICK CASTLE TRAIL RUNS 2027 - 10KM & Half-Marathon

Immerse yourself in the historic charm of Alnwick Castle for the 2027 edition of the ALNWICK CASTLE TRAIL RUNS. This year, runners will embark on scenic trails that wind through Hulne Park and Priory, offering a blend of natural beauty and challenging terrain.
The event features both a Half Marathon and a 10km run, starting and finishing by the serene River Aln beside Alnwick Castle – an iconic landmark featured in Harry Potter films. The castle grounds provide a breathtaking backdrop for runners as they navigate through lush landscapes and historic sites.
Participants will enjoy live chip timing courtesy of Timing Up North, ensuring accurate results throughout their race experience. Upon crossing the finish line, all runners are rewarded with event medals, exclusive merchandise from Wild Deer, and refreshments including snacks and drinks.

This year’s ALNWICK CASTLE TRAIL RUNS supports NE Youth Charity, with £4 from every entry donated towards their mission to empower young people in the North East through community involvement and personal development initiatives.
