Dust off your most imaginative Santa costumes or festive gear, as we invite you to join us at Tinkley Gate National Trust site for an enchanting 5km off-road run. The Allsorts Tinkley Gate Santa Dash promises a joyful and inclusive experience that blends exercise with holiday cheer.
This spirited event welcomes up to 250 participants of all ages who are eager to support the local charity, Allsorts, which provides vital assistance to children and young people with additional needs alongside their families. Whether you choose to run at full speed or stroll through the scenic trail, every step contributes to a worthy cause.
The route winds through picturesque countryside, offering runners breathtaking views and an invigorating off-road terrain that challenges both body and spirit. Participants are encouraged to bring along their furry friends on short handheld leashes for added companionship. For younger Santas aged 8-11, the event offers a special U11 category where they must run alongside a parent or guardian, while those up to age 12 can participate in a shortened 2.5km course.
Upon arrival at Tinkley Gate, you’ll be greeted by carol singers who will set the festive mood with their melodic tunes. The National Trust café will also serve refreshments throughout the day for runners and spectators alike.
Parking is available within the trust’s grounds, making it easy to access the event site.
For members of the National Trust, entry is free; non-members can join in at a nominal fee of £3 per person.
