The 2026 Albany Harbour Swim is an iconic open-water event scheduled for Easter Saturday, April 4, 2026, in Little Grove, WA, Australia. This 4km crossing spans from the Princess Royal Sailing Club to Albany Peace Park. Supported by Smith Thornton Accountants and local club volunteers, the event is a staple of the Easter weekend, attracting individual endurance swimmers as well as duos and teams of four looking for a collaborative challenge.

Participation and Logistics
The race morning begins early at the Princess Royal Sailing Club, with team registration opening at 5:45 AM and individual briefings starting at 7:00 AM. For relay teams, swimmers 2, 3, and 4 will board transport boats at 6:30 AM to reach their respective relay points. Safety is a high priority, with patrols provided by Sea Rescue and Surf Life Saving craft. While swimmers can optionally bring their own paddler support, all paddlers are strictly required to supply and wear their own Personal Flotation Device (PFD). All swimmers must wear the provided event swim cap for the duration of the crossing, and a final cutoff time of 9:30 AM is enforced for the safety of all participants.
Registration and Support
Online registrations are divided into "Early Bird" and "Standard" windows, with the final cutoff for all entries occurring at noon on Friday, April 3, 2026. There are no late entries permitted on the day of the swim. Participants may choose to enter in either the "Open Water" (standard swimsuit) or "Wet Suit" categories. For families and guardians of swimmers under 18, a signed waiver is required.
