About the Event

Families Helping Families of Greater Baton Rouge's (FHFGBR's) Annual Active for Autism 5K, Run Walk & Family Fun Fest promotes awareness, acceptance & inclusion of those who are affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder. Registration is open to adults and children ages 4 and up. This event provides community education while generating partnerships with families & organizations across the Greater Baton Rouge, seven-parish area. Proceeds from Active for Autism help support FHFGBR's mission which is to provide individualized services, information & support needed to positively enhance the independence, productivity & inclusion of people with developmental disabilities. FHFGBR is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
