Join the vibrant celebration at the GLOW Stroll & 5K, taking place on Saturday, October 17th, starting with the race at 6 pm and pre-race activities from 5 pm. This family-friendly event invites runners of all levels to explore the scenic Paul Henry Thornapple Trail in Middleville, Michigan. The trail offers a mix of paved paths alongside serene river views, providing an ideal setting for both competitive racing and leisurely strolls. Whether you're looking to push your limits or enjoy a casual walk under the stars, this event has something for everyone. Participants can register early at $30 through August 31st, with pre-registration available until September 30th at $35. Day-of registration is also an option for those who prefer last-minute planning and costs $40. The GLOW Stroll adds a unique twist to the evening from 6:30-7:30 pm, where participants can enjoy glow-in-the-dark decorations, black light effects, and trick-or-treating along the trail. Registration is just $15 for those aged 12 and over, while children under 12 get in free but must be accompanied by an adult. Refreshments, snacks, and music will keep everyone entertained throughout the event. All registrants receive a bag filled with goodies during the GLOW Stroll portion of the night. T-shirts are guaranteed for early birds who register before August 31st or pre-register by September 30th; additional shirts can be purchased online at an extra cost. Parking is available on street side and behind the Middleville Village Hall (located at 100 East Main Street). The staging area, where participants will gather to start their journey through this enchanting trail, is situated near the picturesque Middleville Gazebo at 91 E Main St. Online registration closes Friday, October 16th at midnight. Proceeds from the event support AABC's community outreach and education initiatives focused on autism awareness in April 2027. Your participation helps promote understanding of ASD within your local community.
