The 2026 Ninth Taihu Mountain Climbing Festival, featuring the Wuxi Junzhang Sub-venue, is set to take place on Sunday, October 18th at 8:30 AM at Baojie Shanlin Park in Wuxi. The event offers two race categories: a 9KM Half Experience Group and a more challenging 17KM Full Course Challenge Group. Participants are encouraged to register early as spots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until full capacity is reached.
This year marks the continuation of an established tradition with outdoor enthusiasts flocking from across China for this unique event that combines sports tourism and mountain climbing. Since its inception in 2018 along the Lingshu Line, the Taihu Mountain Climbing Festival has grown into a beloved annual gathering, celebrated each autumn on the slopes of Qionghongshan.
The addition of the Wuxi Junzhang Sub-venue this year promises an even more immersive experience for participants.
