9th Edition Gurugram Half Marathon-2026

On Sunday, September 6th, 2026, the city of Gurugram will come alive with the spirit of unity and community as it hosts the ninth edition of the Gurugram Half Marathon. Known affectionately as "Run For Unity," this event is more than just a race; it's an invitation to join hands in promoting harmony among people from all walks of life.
The main attraction, a 21.1-kilometer half marathon, sets off early at 5:30 AM sharp after the initial reporting time for participants starting at 5:00 AM. The route winds through Sector 58’s Urban Akhara, offering runners stunning views and an energizing start to their day.
For those who prefer shorter distances or are looking for a fun-filled experience with family, there's also a 10.55-kilometer run starting at 6:00 AM, as well as a 5.25-kilometer route that begins promptly at 6:20 AM. The day’s festivities culminate in the 3-kilometer Fun Run for all ages, with participants gathering from 6:30 AM and setting off at 7:00 AM.
Awards are given to top male and female finishers across various age categories in each race distance. Every participant receives a dry-fit event T-shirt, customized finisher medal, an e-certificate of participation, refreshments after the run, hydration support along the route, medical assistance as needed, and post-run refreshments.
The atmosphere is further enhanced by pre-race Zumba warm-up sessions to get everyone moving from early morning. Music and traditional dhol entertainment add a vibrant touch throughout the event, ensuring that participants are not only running but also enjoying every step of their journey.
Water stations are strategically placed every two kilometers along all routes, providing runners with essential hydration support. Energy drinks and medical assistance points are readily available to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort during the run.
Participants can look forward to having their race photos uploaded online within a day or two after the event concludes. Additionally, official timing certificates from this event qualify participants for major marathons across India.
Registration fees remain non-refundable and non-transferable, with bib numbers and T-shirts collected in advance of race day for local runners through email communication upon registration closure.
