8ª CORRIDA DAS CORES

On October 18, 2026, the 8th UNESP Itapeva Color Run invites participants to join a vibrant celebration of health and community at the Instituto de Ciências e Engenharia campus. This unique race blends sport with social awareness through symbolic colors representing various public health campaigns throughout the year.
The event starts with registration beginning on September 5, 2026, until October 11, or when all spots are filled. Participants can choose between a competitive 5 km run and a leisurely 2 km walk, both taking place in the scenic surroundings of Itapeva's UNESP campus.
The race begins at 8:00 AM sharp from the university parking lot on Rua Geraldo Alckmin, with runners following routes through streets like Mouracy do Prado Moura and Dr. Estelita Ribas before heading back along Avenida Governador Mário Covas near OAB. The course is designed to be completed within an hour.
For those preferring a more relaxed pace, the 2 km walk starts simultaneously at 8:00 AM with participants positioned behind the runners' starting line and will follow similar routes through Itapeva's streets without competitive timing or awards.
Registration fees are R$50 for UNESP internal members and R$75 for general public attendees. All runners must be at least 15 years old, while those under 18 require parental consent to participate.
