RegisterJoin us on SATURDAY, AUGUST 31st, for our 7th annual FARM 5K BENEFIT RUN/WALK!
Bring a friend or the entire family and enjoy a fun and easy off-road run or walk along the trails of our 100+ acre organic farm beside the Cacapon River.
In 2023, with the help of our committed sponsors and amazing runners + walkers, we raised $21,125 for our local Volunteer Fire + Rescue Squads and our Youth Giving Committee! Help us smash that record by registering today to run/walk or sponsor. We are working with APTiming again, who will provide timely and accurate race results along with finish-line photos.
8:00 AM - REGISTRATION OPENS (you can also register in person at the race the morning of, but we can not guarantee a t-shirt will be left in your size)
8:30 AM - RUN/WALK BEGINS
(AWARD CEREMONY TO FOLLOW)
POST-RACE: RECOVER WITH FOOD AND BEVERAGES
AWARDS: 1st Place Overall Male and Female, and Best Male and Female in each Age Division (22 total prizes)

DIVISIONS (by age): 5 and under, 6-9, 10-13, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-74, 75+
DOG-FRIENDLY: Participants with dogs on leash are welcome on the course after the runners and walkers have begun to not interfere with the competitive runners. All dogs must stay on the path and be leashed to prevent any harm to our chickens and other wildlife.

Originally named Trout Run, Wardensville was chartered in Virginia in 1832 and incorporated in West Virginia in 1879. Wardensville is located west of the Great North Mountain range, which separates it from the Shenandoah Valley. The town lies on the east bank of the Cacapon River at its confluence with Trout Run. The George Washington and Jefferson National Forests administrative entity borders the town to its east and south.
