On November 29, 2026, the 7th Capivara Challenge returns to Campinas/SP, offering runners an immersive and collaborative experience that emphasizes personal growth over competition. Participants can choose from three distances: a full marathon (42K), half-marathon (21K), or 10K run through varied terrain featuring asphalt roads, dirt paths, and scenic trails. Each participant is responsible for their own hydration, nutrition, and navigation along the route they select. The event fosters camaraderie among athletes while promoting a deep connection with nature. In addition to the challenging course, runners receive a race kit including a T-shirt, bib number, wristband, finisher medal, and a pint of beer from Daoravida at the post-race party complete with live music. The event is limited to 300 participants across all distances, ensuring an intimate atmosphere where everyone can enjoy the scenic surroundings. Participants must study their chosen route in advance as it includes sections open to traffic, requiring careful navigation and adherence to safety guidelines provided by race staff. Runners are encouraged to load GPS files onto their devices for accurate tracking during the event.
