On November 1, 2026, runners and walkers will converge at the historic Estação Ferroviária de Caruaru for an exhilarating day of competition. The race starts early with participants gathering by 5:30 AM to prepare for the main events beginning promptly at 6:00 AM. The event offers a variety of distances suitable for all ages and skill levels, including a 10 km run that winds through scenic Caruaru, showcasing its vibrant culture and architecture. A shorter but equally challenging 5 km race is also available for those looking to experience the energy without committing to such an extensive distance. Additionally, there's a fun 3 km walk that allows participants of all ages to enjoy the atmosphere. For young athletes, the day concludes with a special Corrida Kids event featuring a short 400-meter sprint starting right after the main races have concluded. The course is well-marked and includes hydration stations approximately every 2.5 kilometers along the route, ensuring that everyone stays hydrated throughout their run or walk. Competitors are required to wear a chip attached securely to their race number for accurate timing. Results will be available on www.pacetimecrono.com.br shortly after the event concludes. The atmosphere is lively and supportive, with medical support readily accessible in case of any emergencies. Registration closes on October 28, or earlier if all slots are filled. Participants can sign up through www.ticketsports.com.br until then, choosing from different price tiers depending on their preferred entry date. A special social action initiative encourages runners to contribute by donating a package of sanitary pads upon kit collection; these donations will be distributed to women in need within Caruaru. Whether you're an elite athlete or just looking for a fun day out, the race offers something memorable with its blend of competition and community spirit.
