About the Event

On November 15, 2026, the picturesque town of Eersel will host the second walk of the 60th edition of OLAT's Day Walks. This annual event offers participants several distance options to choose from, catering to a range of interests and fitness levels.
The starting point for all walkers is located at De Keizer on Postelseweg 88 in Eersel. The walk distances include a challenging 40 km route that begins promptly at 8:00 AM followed by the less strenuous but still rewarding 30 km, 20 km, and 15 km routes starting from the same time slot. A shorter yet enjoyable 10 km option is also available for those seeking something more manageable.
Registration fees are €9.00 for both the 40 km and 30 km walks, €8.00 for the 20 km walk, and €7.00 for the 15 km route, with a slightly lower cost of €6.00 for the 10 km option. It's worth noting that all fees include a €1.00 discount when registering in advance.
Members of OLAT or the Dutch Hiking Federation (KWbN) can enjoy additional discounts: OLAT members receive an extra €4.00 off their registration fee, while KWbN members get €2.00 off upon providing their membership number at checkout.
Participants will benefit from various amenities along the route, including OLAT's mobile rest stations offering complimentary refreshments in exchange for collected tokens. Up to three additional café stops may also be available depending on the chosen distance and pace of each participant.
Those who register ahead of time can pick up a GPX-track file specific to their selected walk, which becomes accessible from 8:00 AM on Saturday before the event via an email confirmation link provided upon registration. Pre-registered participants are still required to have their entry scanned at the start bureau prior to participating in any walks.
In case of cancellation by pre-registrants, a €1.50 administrative fee will be retained to cover processing costs. Participants should familiarize themselves with OLAT’s official participation regulations for day walks before attending.
