60 Minute Race

This event will have 100 participants maximum.

​Start Time/Location: 7:00AM Central Time/Hopkins Family Park in Francisco, IN.  Address is 7344 E. 250 S. Francisco, IN 47649

Course: Each lap around the paved park path will be approximately 1.05 Miles in length.  Participants can do as many laps as they want in the 60 Minute time period!  If you start your last lap just before the 60 minutes is up, you can finish the lap.

Cost: $35 until April 15; $40 until event (deduct $5 with no race shirt option). 
**All sales are final.  Unless prior arrangements are made prior to race start,no shirts are guaranteed after race day.

Race Day Check-In:  There will be no early pick up for this event.  On race day, check in will be from 6:15-6:45AM at the race location.

Awards: Instead of awards, this race will give money back to participants!  Here is how it will work.  For every entry, $5 will go into the pot of money to be given out at race to participants.  The more laps you do, the more money you can get back.  Money given back will be anywhere from $1 to $35.   We will have a better idea of how much money is in the pot closer to race day.  Additional info will go out week of race to participants.     

Timing: The race will be for 60 minutes, we will count number of laps race via rubber bracelets given after each lap.  When 60 minutes is up, participants will let us know how many bracelets they collected.  From there, we will figure up who will get what amount of money.  In the event of any ties, we will use the Wheel of Names website for tie breakers!  Just an FYI, we have never tried a race like this before so bare with us as we hope everything works out as planned!

Weather: The race will go on rain or shine!  No refunds given if event is cancelled due to unforeseen weather conditions or a circumstance out of the hands of the organizers.

Benefactor: Partial proceeds will benefit Hopkins Family Park.
