4th Annual Run for Recovery - Anderson

Hosted by The Bridge Center Recovery in partnership with NewSpring Church. 

ABOUT:  The Bridge Center Recovery is a treatment facility for men seeking freedom from drug and alcohol addiction. We are located on West Whitner Street in Anderson, SC. The Bridge Center has been operating since August of 2020, and has helped over 300 men in an official capacity to date.

PROCEEDS:  All race proceeds will benefit The Bridge Center Recovery to further its mission in helping men to find freedom and carry the message to others.

START TIMES: 5K will begin at 8am. Fun Run will be directly after (845am)

STARTING LOCATION: East/West Parkway and Highway 81(Ingles Intersection)

RACE TIMING:  The 5K will be timed by Upstate Race Series.  The 1 Mile Fun Run will not be timed.

EARLYBIRD REGISTRATION:  Earlybird Pricing: 5K - $30 / 1 Mile Fun Run - $10 *Earlybird Registration ends 3/28*

RACE FEES:  5K - $35 / 1 Mile Fun Run - $15 / Toddlers under 2 free (in a stroller)

**Event shirts will be included with registration for 5K participants ONLY. 1 Mile participants will be able to purchase a shirt upon registration.

RACE PACKET PICKUP:  Race packet pick-up will begin at the Starting Location 45 min prior to race.

PRIZES:  Prizes (and medals) will be awarded to top 3 overall male and female winners.

MEDALS:  Medals will be given to top 3 male and female runners in the following age brackets:

• 12 & under

• 13-19

• 20-29

• 30-39

• 40-49

• 50-59

• 60-69

• 70+

WEATHER:  This race is rain or shine.  In the unlikely event of weather that would force us to cancel, your registration fee will be considered a donation to The Bridge Center Recovery.  

MERCH: We will have Bridge Center merch available for purchase.
