5th Annual 5K Fun Run & Walk

Step into the vibrant world of the Annual YMCA of Collier County 5K Fun Run and Walk on Saturday, October 24, 2026. Located at the YMCA of Colnier County - South Campus (101 Sand Hill Street, Marco Island), this event invites runners and walkers alike to participate in a community-driven race that supports local families through YMCA programs.
Registration begins at 7:45 am, with the run kicking off promptly at 8:30 am. Participants can look forward to an engaging morning filled with camaraderie as they traverse the scenic routes around Marco Island. The event is designed for all ages and abilities; adults pay $40 per person while those aged 13 and under enjoy free entry, focusing solely on the fun run/walk.
Post-race festivities include a lively Annual Open House and Boo-tacular celebration, providing an extended day of family-friendly activities such as facility tours and community gatherings. This year's event introduces a unique twist: runners are encouraged to participate in costume for added flair. The top three costumes will be awarded special prizes, adding a playful element to the competitive spirit.
Participants can also look forward to chip-timed results provided by Gulf Coast Runners, ensuring an accurate record of everyone’s performance. Each runner receives a commemorative T-shirt upon registration, making this event not only rewarding but memorable as well.
