About the Event

The Mitry-Mory Race Weekend offers runners of all ages and abilities an engaging experience across multiple race categories. The weekend kicks off early on Sunday, September 20th with the Open 5K starting at 9:20 AM for both licensed and non-licensed participants. This mixed-gender event sets a lively tone as athletes from various backgrounds come together to compete.
Following the open race is a series of age-specific competitions beginning at 10:00 AM, featuring minimes-cadets-masters men's races. At 10:45 AM, women across all categories take center stage in their respective events. The day progresses with juniors-espoirs-seniors-masters men’s races starting promptly at 11:30 AM.
The event culminates with a unique relay race for benjamins-minimes teams beginning at noon. Each team must consist of three runners, each covering one mile (approximately 1609 meters). This mix of individual and relay events ensures there's something for every runner to enjoy throughout the day.
Entry fees are structured to accommodate both licensed athletes and non-licensed participants. For the 5K race, licensed members pay €8 while non-members incur a slightly higher fee of €10 (excluding transaction costs). Relay teams can register at €15 per team (again excluding any additional transaction charges).
Registration for this event closes on September 16th at noon and must be completed online; no entries will be accepted onsite. Race numbers are available for collection at the OSTERMEYER Gymnasium in Mitry-Mory, with options to pick them up individually or as part of an envelope distribution reserved exclusively for clubs registering five or more participants.
The gymnasium offers convenient timeslots for number pickup: Saturday, September 19th from 3 PM until 6 PM and Sunday morning starting at 7 AM through the start time of each race. This ensures that all runners have ample opportunity to collect their numbers before heading into competition.
With a mix of competitive spirit and community involvement, this event promises an invigorating day filled with camaraderie and athletic challenge for everyone involved.
