About the Event

Join us for the 48th running of this amazing Adirondack Coast tradition! Proceeds benefit the charitable work of the Peru Lions Club.

All runners will receive Turkey Trot swag, while it lasts!

The 5k and the 10k** start at 9am at Peru Central School! Bib pickup will be on race morning beginning at 7:45am and all activities will be outside, with some weather protection provided by the bays of the Peru Central School bus garage.

Awards will be given to the top three men and top three women in the 5k and the 10k.

Route Adjustments: We've made a few route adjustments to ensure a proper distance and to make our race more runner friendly. Please review the maps!

**ATTENTION: Two years ago we updated the 10k route to make it a true 10k. We added a short out-and-back on Twin Creek Drive (off of Barney Downs Road).

The Peru Lions Club consists of people who represent a cross section of our community. Chartered in 1945, the Peru Lions Club continues to serve the community in a variety of ways. We live by our motto "WE SERVE" and where there is a need, you will see a Lion. A prime example are the free eye screenings we provide to incoming kindergartners, day cares, any child between the ages of 1 and 5, across upstate NY. While our main goal is to aid the visually impaired and blind, our club contributes to over 18 service projects. 100% of YOUR donation at our Turkey Trot and other fundraisers goes back to your local community.
