44th Annual Boar's Head Turkey Trot 5K

Join us for a Charlottesville tradition on Thanksgiving Day for the 44th annual Boar's Head Turkey Trot 5K road race benefitting UVA Health Children's! The course starts and ends at Boar's Head Resort. The route winds through the surrounding neighborhoods and is very hilly. We invite you and your family to move your feet before you eat!

Tuesday, Nov. 18: Three Notch’d Brewing Company from 5 – 7 p.m. Come pick up your race packet at Three Notch'd Brewing Company and enjoy a 10% discount on food & beverage or to-go beer purchased on the packet pickup night on Nov. 18. 

Saturday, Nov. 22: McArthur Squash Center at the Boar's Head Sports Club from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Tuesday, Nov. 25:  McArthur Squash Center at the Boar's Head Sports Club from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 26: McArthur Squash Center at the Boar's Head Sports Club from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.

FAQs:

Q:  Can I register in person?  No, registration is only available online through Run Sign Up.  

Q:  What time should I arrive?  We encourage runners to arrive early and recommend arriving no later than 8 a.m.  

Q:  Where can I park?  Parking is available at the resort but is limited.  Carpooling is strongly encouraged!

Q:  Will there be an awards ceremony?  Yes, we will have an awards ceremony to award the top finisher for both men and women in each age group beginning at approximately 9:35 am.

Q:  Are strollers allowed? Yes

Q:  Are pets allowed?  No, pets are not allowed on the race course.

Q:  Can someone else pick up my packet for me?  Yes

Q:  Will hydration be available on the course?  No, but water is available at the Finish.

Q:  Will ID be required at the post-race social?  Yes, we will check ID at the beverage tent.  

Q:  What is the Tiny Turkeys 1/4 Mile Dash?  We invite everyone ages eight and under to participate in a free and fun race to start the morning!  We will gather all Tiny Turkeys on the grass by the Finish line at 8:15 a.m.  

Q:  What time is the event complete?  The event and social will conclude at 11 a.m.
