The 42nd Annual Healthy Human Race, set to take place on September 12, 2026, offers runners and walkers alike the opportunity to explore Rochester’s picturesque trails. This RRCA State Championship Half Marathon features a challenging yet rewarding half marathon course that winds through scenic paths known for their speed and flat terrain. Participants can also choose from a 5K run or a team-based relay event. The race starts early in the morning, with participants gathering at MN Treads located at 116 17th Avenue NW, Rochester, Minnesota, to pick up packets on Thursday, September 10th, between 3pm and 6pm, or Friday from 3pm until 7pm. Race day packet pickup is available but strongly discouraged due to the morning rush. In addition to traditional race-day participation, a virtual option allows runners flexibility in their training schedule leading up to the event date. Virtual participants have the chance to complete their distance at any time before September 12th and can opt for mailed packets or regular pick-up times with an extra fee of $6.50. The Healthy Human Race not only celebrates athletic achievement but also supports local running initiatives through its partnership with the Rochester Running Club, a key organizer of this event. Proceeds from race registrations contribute to club activities that enhance community fitness and camaraderie among runners throughout the year. Members of the Rochester Running Club enjoy discounted entry fees for all events organized by the club.
