About the Event

The 40th Ueda Kosenjo Half Marathon is based at the Uedahara battlefield in Ueda, where the warlord Takeda Shingen of Kai Province and Murakami Yoshikiyo of northern Shinano fought the Battle of Uedahara.
The program includes a half marathon (21.1K), a 10K and a 1.6 km Challenge Run. A 1.6 km Family Run is run in pairs of one guardian aged 18 or over and one elementary school child or younger, and the pair need not be parent and child.
