4 BIEG - MOGIELNICA DLA NIEPODLEGŁEJ

On November 22, 2026, the IV Bieg "Mogielnica dla Niepodległej" will celebrate Poland's National Independence Day with a patriotic and athletic spirit. This unique race offers two challenging courses: an 11 km run through picturesque countryside and charming villages, and a 5 km Nordic walking route that winds through serene forests.
The running course begins at the bustling Rynek Miejski in Mogielnica before heading to nearby towns like Miechowice and Popowice. It then continues on to Główczyn and Dziunin before finishing back in Mogielnica, where participants are greeted by a cheering crowd at the sports complex near PSP nr 2.
For Nordic walkers, the route starts similarly but diverges after crossing over Marosa River via a scenic bridge into lush forests. Both courses end with an enthusiastic ceremony that includes lighting candles and singing the national anthem before the race begins promptly at 11:11 AM.
Participants will receive commemorative medals upon completion of their respective races, which are timed electronically using chips for accurate results. The event promises to be a moving tribute to Poland's heritage while offering runners and walkers alike an unforgettable experience in one of the country’s most historic regions.
The race day is packed with activities starting from 8:00 AM when participants can collect their numbers and start packages, followed by a solemn ceremony at 11:00 AM. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers after lunchtime festivities conclude around midday.
Registration for this special event closes on November 9th, so interested runners are encouraged to sign up early to secure their spot in what promises to be an inspiring and memorable race.
