3ª CORRIDA DE EMANCIPAÇÃO POLÍTICA DE FLORÂNIA

On October 11, 2026, the Flores Runners Association presents the annual Florânia Race. This scenic 5 km run starts at the base of TLC Hill and winds its way through picturesque streets before finishing at the iconic Airplane Square. Participants can enjoy a flat course with some rolling hills that provides runners with stunning views along the route.
The race is open to athletes aged 14 years or older by December 31, 2026, and includes chip timing provided by MC Crono for an accurate record of each runner's time. All finishers receive a commemorative medal upon completion. The event features separate awards categories including general rankings (for visitors) and local Florânia residents, with top five winners receiving cash prizes as well as trophies.
In addition to the overall standings, there are special awards for athletes aged 14-60 in various age groups, along with medals for those classified under PCD (People with Disabilities) or Public Safety categories. These distinctions add a layer of competition and recognition that caters to diverse abilities within the running community.
Registration costs R$70 plus platform fees through Ticket Sports and is non-transferable. Runners are encouraged to bring their own identification as proof of age for younger participants who require parental consent forms. For more details on race day logistics, rules, or additional categories, visit the event website where you can find a comprehensive guide outlining all regulations.
The Florânia Race promises an engaging atmosphere with vibrant local support and picturesque scenery that highlights why this autumn run is a must-attend for both competitive runners and recreational athletes alike.
