About the Event

Cycling enthusiasts from across Japan are invited to experience the beauty and resilience of the Noto Peninsula through this unique cycling challenge. The course, which winds around the peninsula's stunning landscapes, is designed more as an endurance test than a race against time. Participants will adhere strictly to traffic rules and competition regulations while aiming for completion.
Originally spanning three days with cyclists covering the entire circumference of the Noto Peninsula, the event has since evolved in response to the region’s recovery efforts following significant seismic activity. This year's iteration offers two distinct routes: "Kanazawa Course" on Day 1 and "Noto Course" on Day 2.
The Kanazawa Course takes cyclists through historic streets lined with traditional architecture and vibrant local markets, immersing them in the rich cultural heritage of this bustling city. The Noto Course then leads participants into the heart of rural Japan, showcasing scenic coastal views and lush forests that tell a story of resilience and renewal following natural disasters.
Each day’s route is carefully crafted to highlight different aspects of recovery efforts across various communities on the peninsula.
