36ème Foulées Roxédoises

On Saturday, November 28, 2026, the charming village of Roc Saint André in Val d'Oust will host its 36th edition of Foulées Roxédoises. This annual event combines a scenic race with beautiful hiking trails to support medical research for breast cancer, prostate cancer, and Alzheimer's disease.
The main attraction is an 11.7-kilometer run that starts at the town hall in Roc Saint André and winds through its verdant countryside before following the picturesque Halage of the Canal de Nantes à Brest. Participants will marvel at the autumn foliage adorning the majestic platanes along this historic canal, creating a stunning backdrop for runners as they enjoy the crisp fall air.
In addition to the race, two hiking routes are offered: a 9-kilometer and a 13-kilometer trail that showcase some of Roc Saint André's most enchanting landscapes. These paths take visitors through lush forests ablaze with autumn colors, past majestic platanes near Château de la Ville Der, and along the serene banks of the canal where Manoir de La Touche Carnet stands in silent splendor.
To cap off this day of solidarity and support for medical research, participants are invited to enjoy a hearty meal featuring jambon à l'os, gratin dauphinois, cheese, and apple tart. This lunch can be pre-ordered by November 24th at €13 per person via Helloasso or by phone.
The race itself features various categories for different age groups:
- A beginners’ course of 500 meters starting at 2:30 PM (free)
- Races for Benjamins and Poussins covering a distance of 1.6 kilometers, also free
- For Minimes, there's an event over 4.2 kilometers beginning at 3:30 PM (also free)
The main race kicks off at 3:30 PM with categories for Cadets, Juniors, Seniors, and Masters covering the full distance of 11.7 kilometers. Entry fees are €9 per participant.
Registration is available through Klikego until November 28th or on-site starting from 1:00 PM at the town hall where participants can also sign up for the hiking routes priced at €4 each.
All runners and hikers will have a chance to win one of sixty prizes, including bicycles, televisions, gift certificates, sports bags, and more. To claim your prize, you must be present during the draw which takes place shortly after 5:30 PM in front of the town hall.
