34ème FREDERIC MISTRAL

The Mont Blond Challenge is an exclusive and challenging off-road cycling race that takes place on October 25, 2026. Cyclists will face a demanding cross-country course featuring rugged terrain through the scenic hills of Mont Blond.
Competitors must hold a valid competition license from UFOLEP or FFC to participate. Non-licensed participants are required to present a medical certificate issued within the past twelve months. Additionally, parental consent is necessary for minors who wish to join this event.
The race offers three categories:
Raid 42 km: This challenging mixed-gender course caters to riders aged 17 and older in both men's and women's adult UFOLEP categories from the upcoming season of 2027/2028. The route is marked with yellow frame plates, and participants will have access to two aid stations along their journey.
Raid 26 km: Designed for younger riders aged 15 and above, this mixed-gender race follows a shorter but equally demanding circuit through the Mont Blond hills. Participants must wear white frame plates and navigate using guideposts set up by Bellachon. This course also includes two aid stations to support competitors.
Raid Kid 15 km: For young cyclists aged 13-14, this mixed-gender race offers a less strenuous yet exciting introduction to competitive cycling. The route is marked with violet frame plates and follows the same guiding system as the adult races but on a shorter circuit designed specifically for youth riders.
The event also features an F.Mistral Jeunes category for 11-12-year-olds, who will race in a two-kilometer XCO circuit to build their skills and confidence.
All participants must wear helmets at all times during the competition as safety is paramount. The organizers provide numerous rewards and souvenirs for each competitor, ensuring that every rider leaves with memorable prizes.
The Mont Blond Challenge promises an unforgettable day of cycling in a picturesque setting, combining thrilling challenges with scenic beauty.
