About the Event

The Limburger City Race has long been one of the most prestigious cycling events in Central Hesse, organized annually by RSV Nassovia Limburg. This traditional race winds through the heart of Limburg on an approximately 800-meter circuit that takes participants down Hospital Street, past Schiede and Diezer Straße, before returning to the finish line along Hospital Street once more.
The course is known for its tight corners, steep approach to the finish straight, and intimate proximity to enthusiastic spectators lining both sides of the street. The event’s urban setting ensures an electrifying atmosphere as cyclists navigate through narrow streets filled with cheering crowds. Regular press coverage often compares it to a mini-Tour de France experience, highlighting its unique blend of professional flair and community spirit.
