Nestled along the picturesque shores of Hamazaki Beach, the Rainbow Matsuyama Race offers runners an unforgettable journey through one of Japan's most scenic landscapes. Designated as a National Special Scenic Beauty Area, this race course winds its way through half of the lush Matsuyama forest before transitioning to a flat coastal route that hugs the shoreline.
Participants will experience breathtaking views and diverse terrain throughout their run, with the first part offering dense woodland paths shaded by towering pine trees. As runners cross over into Hamazaki Beach's serene coastline, they'll enjoy panoramic ocean vistas as they complete laps along the sandy shore. The race is designed to showcase both natural beauty and challenging yet runnable stretches, making it a favorite among local athletes.
The event concludes with an exciting raffle draw for all participants who stay until the closing ceremony, adding an extra layer of excitement after crossing the finish line.
