About the Event
Experience the second edition of the special event "Shine Shine Muscat Run" at the picturesque Ibaraki Prefecture, where runners are treated to an abundance of sweet muscats and other seasonal fruits. This unique race offers both 10km and 5km routes that wind through iconic locations such as Chibag湖 (Thousand Wave Lake) Park and Kairakuen Garden—one of Japan's three most renowned gardens. The course is designed for all to enjoy, with scenic views and a charming atmosphere featuring the beloved Lord Hoshina Masayoshi, also known as Mito Kōmon. Alongside him, runners will encounter various species of birds including swans, blackbirds, and ducks that call these parks home. The event promises an unforgettable blend of running and local culture.
