2nd Annual Dash for Diabetes Awareness 5 K & 1Mile Run or Walk

The 2nd Annual Dash for Diabetes Awareness 5 K & 1 mile run is happening on Saturday, November 15, 2025 in the Mesilla Plaza.  This event aims to raise crucial funds to support Southern New Mexico Diabetes Outreach's education programs and annual kids camp. 

The Southern NM Diabetes Outreach (SNMDO) is a nonprofit 501c3 organization with a mission to serve the community by providing access to diabetes detection, prevention, education, and support. Race Details:

• Race registration - registration is accepted until  8:45 am on race day. Please visit the registration booth.
• Race check in - check into the race via race sign up using your mobile phone. 
• Race start time -1 Mile "Fun Walk" begins at 9:15 am.  and 5 K (3.1 Mi) begins at 9:00 am. 
• Health Fair - 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Visit our diabetes health fair for more health resources and giveaways!
• Awards - Participant medals until supplies last, additional medals for the top finishers (1st, 2nd, 3rd place) for male and female groups.
