2ª EDIÇÃO CORRIDA DO POETA

On November 15, 2026, runners and walkers will gather at Praça Feliciano Sodré for the annual Corrida e Caminhada da Cidade. Participants are advised to arrive one hour before the start time of 7:00 AM to ensure a smooth registration process. The event features two categories: a competitive 5 km run and a participative 5 km walk.
The race course, which will be officially announced closer to the date through official channels, offers scenic routes that showcase local landmarks and parks. Safety is paramount; medical support including ambulances and emergency services will be available throughout the event. The organizers reserve the right to modify start times or adjust the route based on technical requirements, weather conditions, safety concerns, public works, or directives from authorities.
Hydration stations are strategically placed along the course at approximately 1.5 km, 3 km, and the finish line to keep participants well-hydrated during their run or walk. Proper waste disposal is strictly enforced; only designated areas will be used for discarding trash and bottles.
Registration opens through an official platform yet to be announced, with a fee of R$50 per participant. Each entrant must complete registration accurately and pay promptly to secure their spot in the event. All participants receive a personalized race number that cannot be transferred or sold. Kits will include an official t-shirt, backpack, bib number, and other items specified by sponsors.
Kit pickup is scheduled for November 14 at a location to be determined later. Participants must bring valid identification documents for kit collection on this date. For more detailed information and updates leading up to the race day, participants are encouraged to follow the event’s official communication channels closely.
