About the Event
Immerse yourself in the serene beauty of Haute-Goulaine for the 28th edition of "Entre Marais et Vignoble," an annual cycling and hiking extravaganza organized by ESHG section Cyclo-VTT. This year, the event takes place on September 19-20, 2026, at La Croix des Tailles Sports Complex. On Saturday night, cyclists can choose from a variety of nocturnal adventures: a 40-kilometer VTT route and a more challenging 50-kilometer gravel course. Both excursions are designed for experienced riders with departures between 18:00 and 20:00 after equipment checks that include helmets, double lighting systems, and reflective vests. For the less adventurous but still eager to explore, two walking circuits of 8 kilometers and 14 kilometers offer a leisurely way to enjoy the area's natural beauty. Night walkers must also wear reflective clothing and carry lights for safety reasons. The following day, Sunday, marks the start of an epic adventure with an 80-kilometer raid that departs between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM from La Croix des Tailles Sports Complex. This event is limited to just 100 participants who can register online or on-site. In addition, there are several other VTT routes ranging from 20 to 65 kilometers in length for both cyclo and gravel enthusiasts. These shorter courses cater to all skill levels with departures throughout the day at La Croix des Tailles Sports Complex. Registration fees vary based on whether participants have a license or not, but early bird discounts apply until September 18th, after which only limited spots remain available online for specific events like the gravel routes and nocturnal rides. For those under 18 years old, all circuits are free of charge. Participants can look forward to fully stocked aid stations along each route as well as hot meals upon arrival at La Croix des Tailles Sports Complex. The event is committed to eco-responsibility by providing individual reusable cups for sale on-site (€1).
