The 24th edition of the Bad Ischler RE/MAX KAISERLAUF is set for Sunday, September 28th, 2025. The day promises an array of running events designed to cater to all ages and abilities. Registration for participants will begin at 7 am with bib distribution taking place until 10:30 am in the Kurpark pavilion. Bib collection is also available on Saturday, September 22nd from 3 pm to 6 pm, providing ample opportunity for runners to pick up their race numbers ahead of time. The event kicks off at 9 am with a special mini and children's run, featuring a unique offer for local youth: all children born in or before 2010 who reside primarily in Bad Ischl can participate free of charge using the voucher code 4820. The registration fee is €9 per child. Following the morning activities, at approximately 10:15 am, there will be an award ceremony for the young runners. At 11 am sharp, the main events begin with a half marathon and fun run, alongside the exclusive Bad Ischl Original Business Run. These races wind through scenic routes around Bad Ischl. The finish line closes at 2 pm, but participants can stay to enjoy the festivities until later in the afternoon when awards will be presented for both the FunRun and Half Marathon starting from approximately 2:30 pm. Additionally, there's a special prize up for grabs for those who complete all three #badischllaeuft events this year; Bad Ischl is searching for its Lauf-Kaiserpaar (running royalty), powered by Bad Ischl Original. This event promises not only competitive races but also an engaging atmosphere with local charm and beautiful surroundings, making it a highlight of the Austrian running calendar.

About Bad Ischl
Learn more about the host city, Bad Ischl.
Bad Ischl is a spa town in Austria. It lies in the southern part of Upper Austria, at the river Traun in the centre of the Salzkammergut region. The town consists of the Katastralgemeinden Ahorn, Bad Ischl, Haiden, Jainzen, Kaltenbach, Lauffen, Lindau, Pfandl, Perneck, Reiterndorf and Rettenbach. It is connected to the village of Strobl by the river Ischl, which drains from the Wolfgangsee, and to the Traunsee, into which the stream empties. It is home to the Kaiservilla, summer residence of Austro-Hungarian monarchs Emperor Franz Joseph I and Empress Elisabeth. In 2024, Bad Ischl was one of the European Capitals of Culture – the third city in Austria after Graz (2003) and Linz (2009).
