2027 Jeonmahyeop New Year's Marathon

On January 10, 2027, runners will gather at the Geumsan Ginseng Expo Parking Lot in Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea for the Jeonmahyeop New Year's Marathon. The race offers three distances: a scenic 5 km run, a challenging 10 km route, and a half marathon that winds through picturesque countryside. Participants can expect to experience the vibrant atmosphere of Geumsan County as they embark on their journey at 10:00 AM.
The event is organized by the Korea Marathon Association with support from local partners such as Geumsan Athletics Federation and World Run. Each participant will receive a timing chip, ensuring accurate race results for all distances. Prizes include performance gear like long-sleeved shirts for the 5 km runners and lightweight padded jackets for those tackling longer routes.
Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis until the final deadline, with refunds available up to three weeks before the event but no changes or cancellations after that point.
