2026 Wonju Chiak Marathon

The 2026 Wonju Chiak Marathon invites runners to experience the breathtaking beauty of Mt. Chiak and the serene landscapes along the Wonjucheon Stream on Sunday, November 29, 2026. Participants will gather at the Wonju Sports Complex Stadium starting at 7:00 AM (KST), with races beginning promptly at 8:00 AM for the half marathon, followed by the 10 km and 5 km events.
This event offers a diverse range of distances to cater to various skill levels. The half marathon course winds through scenic trails and urban pathways, while the shorter runs provide an opportunity to explore the vibrant atmosphere without committing to longer durations. All participants will receive commemorative gifts, race bibs, timing chips (except for 5 km runners), finisher medals, drinks, and snacks upon completion.
Registration opens on September 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM (KST) with entries accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Race items are scheduled to be shipped out by November 20, though this may vary depending on the event's logistics.
