2026 Wije’wi run

The 2026 Wije’wi Run, presented by Glooscap First Nation, is a community-focused 5K event scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2026, in Hantsport, Nova Scotia. The event’s name, "Wije’wi," translates to "come with me" in Mi’kmaw, reflecting the race's core mission of fostering culture, connection, and healthy active living. Originally established in 2019, this fun run invites participants of all levels to engage in a non-competitive atmosphere that prioritizes community wellness. The race follows a point-to-point route, beginning at Glooscap Landing and concluding at Glooscap Corner, followed by a post-race BBQ and refreshments for all participants.
