The 2026 Wei Xing Cup Linhai Youxi Mountain Trail Triathlon Challenge and Green Waters Ironman Super League Linhai Youxi Station is set to take place on October 18, starting at 8:00 AM at the scenic Longmen Scenic Area in Yuxi Village of Linqiao District, Zhejiang Province. This event features a challenging mountain trail triathlon with a total distance of 47.5 kilometers (swimming 1.5 km + cycling 26 km + running 20 km), and includes both individual and relay team categories for up to three participants.
The race is designed around the unique natural beauty of Yuxi, known as "nine mountains, half water, and a quarter field," offering runners an immersive experience with lush landscapes. The swimming section takes place in the serene Longmen Reservoir, surrounded by towering cliffs that create a stunning backdrop for swimmers to compete against.
The cycling route spans 26 kilometers along picturesque provincial roads through narrow valleys and charming villages. Cyclists will enjoy breathtaking views of cascading streams as they pedal past dense forests and rugged terrain. The running leg covers 20 kilometers with dramatic elevation changes, including an ascent of 1,150 meters and a descent of 945 meters.
Participants can look forward to navigating through the heart of the Kuanchang Mountain Range, ancient trails, and thickly wooded areas, all while pushing their physical limits.
