2026 Ulsan Marathon

On Sunday, October 11, 2026, runners from around the globe will converge on Ulsan to take part in the 2026 Ulsan Marathon. This annual running festival offers three distances: a half marathon (21.0975 km), a 10K race, and a shorter 5K option for those looking for a more manageable challenge.
The event begins at the bustling Ulsan Sports Complex before setting off on an exhilarating route through downtown Ulsan and Asan-ro. Runners will pass by iconic landmarks such as Dongcheon Gymnasium's back gate, Eolsolgeun-gil street, Naehwangyo Intersection, and other scenic spots that showcase the city’s vibrant energy.
Participants have a generous time limit of 3 hours for the half marathon, 2 hours for the 10K race, and 1 hour for the 5K distance. The event attracts up to 10,000 runners on a first-come, first-served basis, making it essential to secure your spot early.
Entry fees vary depending on the chosen distance: KRW 45,000 for the half marathon, KRW 40,000 for the 10K race, and KRW 35,000 for the 5K. All participants will receive a commemorative gift upon completion of their respective distances.
The Ulsan Marathon is well-equipped to support its runners with amenities such as bib numbers, smart chips for timing accuracy, and plastic bags for baggage storage during the race day. Additionally, there are awards available in men’s, women’s, and youth/adult divisions for both half marathon and 10K distances, while the 5K offers separate categories for men and women.
