About the Event

After 22 years, this is the last one. One last half marathon. One last 5K. One last Tot Trot. The Final Trot to the Beach happens Sunday, June 14, 2026, in Erieau, Ontario. Over its lifetime, this event has raised roughly $250,000 for local charities, families in need, and community programs. Race director JP Huggins says: "It was never just a race. It was our community in motion."

Half Marathon
Run start: 8:00 AM • Walk start: 7:00 AM • Blenheim to Erieau "the long way"

5 km
8:30 AM start • Buses depart arena at 8:00 AM with 5 km participants

Tiny Tot Trot
Approximately 9:30 AM start • Kids run

What began 22 years ago with John and Annie TeSligte continued for 12 years by the Huggins family. Now it ends. But not without celebrating properly: costumes, teams, laughter, hugs at the beach, and jumping in the lake.

Schedule for Sunday, June 14:

6:00 AM — Day‑of registration and check‑in opens
7:00 AM — Half Marathon Walk starts
8:00 AM — Half Marathon Run starts / Buses depart arena with 5 km participants
8:30 AM — 5 km Walk/Run starts
9:30 AM — Tot Trot starts (approx.) / Shuttle service back to arena begins
12:30 PM — The last Trot To The Beach wraps up
