About the Event
The 2026 Super Four Ridges Trail Training Camp is set to take place on September 19th in the Prince Chengli International Cultural and Tourism Town, located within Chongli District of Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. The event will start and finish at the Prince Chengli International Convention Center, offering three distinct race categories: a challenging 40KM route, an intermediate 20KM option, and an exciting youth-friendly 8KM course. Participants are encouraged to register early as spots fill up quickly; those who sign up by July 29th will enjoy discounted entry fees. The full marathon distance of the 41.43KM race features a cumulative ascent of 1,827 meters over rugged terrain and offers participants the chance to experience breathtaking views from peaks exceeding 2,000 meters in elevation. With a total of 250 runners scheduled for this category, the event kicks off at 6:00 AM on September 19th with a generous cutoff time of 13 hours. The half marathon distance measures 18.7KM and includes an ascent of 778 meters over six hours, accommodating up to 150 runners who will also begin their journey at the early morning hour of 6:00 AM on September 19th. Meanwhile, for younger participants aged between 12-14 years old, there's a shorter but equally exhilarating route covering 8.7KM with an ascent of just over 300 meters and a cutoff time of four hours starting at 10:00 AM on the same day. Director Abu emphasizes that while Chongli is known for its extensive trail running opportunities, few routes offer such unique experiences as this one, which connects five mountain ridges, passes through the heart of the Winter Olympic赛区 and culminates in panoramic views from elevated peaks. The Super Four Ridges Trail Training Camp isn't merely a race; it's an immersive journey that showcases Chongli’s iconic ridge route while fostering community engagement throughout the year. This event is part of a larger initiative to build lasting value through route development, user communities and promoting the rich mountain culture of Chongli. It promises runners not just competition but also camaraderie, scenic beauty, and an unforgettable adventure amidst the natural splendor of this renowned region. The Super Four Ridges Trail Training Camp invites trail enthusiasts from around the globe to immerse themselves in a unique blend of athleticism and cultural exploration, making it more than just another race on the calendar. It's an invitation to connect with nature, challenge oneself physically while embracing the vibrant community spirit that thrives along this extraordinary route.
