Breckenridge, Colorado. Wednesday, July 15, 2026. The Summit Trail Running Series continues with Race #3 — the Horseshoe Gulch Grind. Long course: 14.2 km (5:30 PM start). Short course: 6.8 km (5:35 PM start). Staged at the Blair Witch Trailhead (Tiger Dredge Parking Lot on Tiger Road). Classic high‑country singletrack, aspen groves, and mountain views. Operated under USDA Forest Service special use permit — White River National Forest.

Short Course — 6.8 km

Location — Blair Witch Trailhead / Tiger Dredge Parking Lot, Breckenridge, CO:

The Blair Witch Trailhead is located off Tiger Road (east of downtown Breckenridge, near the Tiger Dredge historic site)
Tiger Road is a gravel/dirt road that leads to several popular trailheads in the Breckenridge area
The trail system includes the Horseshoe Gulch Trail, which climbs through aspen and pine forests toward the Tenmile Range
