About the Event

Dillon, Colorado. The "Dillon Dump." The Summit Trail Running Series kicks off on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, with Race #1 — the Scrap Yard Scramble. Staged at the Summit County Resource Allocation Park (SCRAP) near the Tenderfoot Trailhead. Long course at 5:30 PM, short course at 5:35 PM. Part of the 5‑race STRS series. Operated under a USDA Forest Service special use permit — White River National Forest. $15 for adults 18+, $12 for ages 10‑17 (individual race). $122 series registration for adults, $50 for ages 10‑17.

Summit County Resource Allocation Park (SCRAP) is a county facility near the Dillon Reservoir, also known locally as the "Dillon Dump" (a former landfill turned recreation area)
Tenderfoot Trailhead is located near the archery range and Dillon Frisbee Golf Course
Trail system: Summit County's network of multi‑use trails, including sections of the Tenderfoot Mountain Trail, with views of Dillon Reservoir, the Tenmile Range, and the Gore Range
Elevation approximately 9,000 ft — classic Colorado high‑country trail running

No dogs allowed on the course (Forest Service regulations and safety)
No refunds — race director reserves right to delay or cancel for weather/trail conditions
