Fly Into Fall is a free, educational, and interactive aviation experience for all ages, designed to inspire future pilots, mechanics, and aviation professionals.

Fly Into Fall was created by city leadership, aviation professionals, and community members to celebrate Midland’s aviation history and open doors for the next generation.

⏱️ Schedule

6:00–7:45 AM → Packet Pickup
7:15 AM → 1-Mile Start
7:35 AM → 5K Start (Timed Event)
9:00 AM → Fly Into Fall Begins
9:15 AM → Course Closes ⚠️ All race activities conclude promptly to comply with airport operations.

Event takes place in an active airport environment
Aviation operations take priority
Event may be adjusted for safety or operational needs
All participants must complete a waiver

*Times subject to change. 

*All entry fees are non-refundable. The event will take place rain or shine. Should the event be canceled due to acts of God, weather conditions, or airport operational requirements, participant packets will be made available for pickup.

* Please NOTE, course will begin being closing at 9:00 AM and be closed at 9:15 AM. If you are not completed with the distance a Midland Airpark shuttle will bring you back to start/finish line.
