About the Event

The 2026 Run for Water Trail Race takes place on Saturday, 30 May 2026 at 7:00 AM PDT on Sumas Mountain, starting at 37797 Taggart Rd in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada. This event offers 50 km, 25 km, and 10 km distances on rugged, technical single‑track trails with vistas of the Fraser River and the gorgeous Fraser Valley. The course features roots, rocks, mud, and plenty of elevation gain. The 25 km and 50 km routes take you to the two highest peaks in Sumas Mountain Regional Park.

Additional information:

Full payment due at registration — non‑refundable.
Everything donated or fundraised above the race entry fee is tax deductible.
You can switch to a shorter distance after registration (subject to availability, no cost). Notify the organizer at least one week before race day.
No deferrals to the following year and no bib transfers to another runner.
Early package pickup: Friday, 29 May 2026 from 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM (location TBD).
Race day packages: Pick up at the start/finish area. Arrive 30–60 minutes before your start time.
As of now, 234 participants have registered.
The race is tough — make no mistake about it. These are some of the nicest, flowing trails our BC rainforests have to offer.
