The 2026 Royal Road Race is a unique athletic tradition held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, within the secure grounds of the RCMP Training Academy (Depot Division) in Regina. As Saskatchewan’s premier Mother's Day weekend race, it offers a rare opportunity for the public to run where Canada's Mounties train. Organized by the Jaleta Pacers and the RCMP, the event focuses on honoring women and the community, featuring a significant charitable component that supports local food security initiatives. This year's edition is particularly prestigious as it plays host to the 2026 Saskatchewan Provincial 5km Road Championships.
